What is the Personalised Day Blend?
The Personalised Day Blend is a custom-formulated daytime tea built around your answers to our short tea quiz. It pairs an organic Japanese green tea base with botanicals matched to your goal (focus, energy, calm focus or steady comfort) and finishes with a functional mushroom for cognitive support. Hand-blended in small batches on the Gold Coast, Australia.
How is the blend personalised to me?
You take a 2-minute quiz covering your daytime energy, focus needs, stress level, caffeine sensitivity and taste preferences. Loulou uses your answers to build a unique blend from a library of organic Japanese teas, supporting botanicals and functional mushrooms. Your formula card comes with each pouch so you know exactly what is in your tea and why.
How much caffeine is in the Day Blend?
Caffeine depends on the tea base your formula uses. Most Day Blends sit between 25 and 50 mg per cup, roughly a quarter to half of a standard coffee. If you marked yourself as caffeine-sensitive in the quiz, your formula will lean toward lower-caffeine options like genmaicha or a hojicha-sencha mix.
When is the best time to drink the Day Blend?
Mornings and early afternoons. The Day Blend is built for focused work and steady daytime energy. Most people stop drinking it after 3pm to protect their sleep.
What botanicals could be in my blend?
The Japanese tea base may be sencha, hojicha, genmaicha or wakoucha, sourced directly from Japan. Supporting botanicals come from a trusted local Australian supplier and may include lemongrass, lemon myrtle, ginger, peppermint, ginseng or rose petals. Functional mushrooms used in Day Blends include Lion's Mane, Cordyceps and Reishi for focus and steady energy.
Is the Day Blend organic and certified?
Yes. Every ingredient in your blend is certified organic. Japanese tea bases come directly from Japan, supporting botanicals come from a trusted local Australian supplier, and Loulou hand-blends every pouch in small batches on the Gold Coast, Australia.
How long does a 75g pouch last?
About 35 cups per 75g pouch when brewed at one teaspoon per cup. At one cup a day, a single pouch lasts a little over a month. Subscriptions ship monthly so you never run out.
Can I drink the Day Blend every day?
Yes. The Day Blend is designed for daily use as part of your routine. Many regulars drink it as their morning ritual or mid-morning desk cup. If you ever want to swap your formula, retake the quiz and your next pouch will be re-personalised.
